You Graduated!

How cute were you!!! You graduated from kindergarten! They teacher even had a cap for all of you. I saved your little trophy that the school gave you and your diploma is already hung in a frame on the wall of her bedroom.
You are going to grade 1!!! You are growing up faster then I could ever imagine. It feels like it was just yesterday I brought you home and you were a tiny baby just 3 days old....and look at you now!
I am so proud of you and how much of a good girl you are...kind, sweet and polite! Your teacher and principal told me that they have never seen such a sweet girl. They kept telling me how happy you are always and how kind you are to everyone. I wish you can feel my heart when other people notice all that you are and how proud that makes mommy and daddy.
You have your whole life ahead of you and pray that everything you ever wished for comes true!

Bedtime Stories

I love reading bedtime stories to you guys. I wish I knew why one story is not enough..????...two is far from being ok....and after 5 books, you guys still beg for one more!!!
I just can't say no...but after I have read that same story a million times, I have it memorized then you accuse me not reading!! You are sooo smart! Have I told you how much I love you? You are 6 years old and I really can't understand how you got so big. You are going to graduate from Kindergarten soon and now you can actually read bedtime stories to your 2 year old sister! Unbelievable!!!!
We have to go to the library this weekend and find some new books or maybe hit some garage sales and find us some new books. Tonight we only read one. You both were so tired from having played hard outside so much!
     Goodnight my sweet angles.

My Darlings

It's Monday night and you are both sleeping. You both fought me tonight because you did not want to go to bed. It is so cute the way your little sister gets out of bed and follows you into the living room to beg me to watch cartoons in bed. "Get back to bed young ladies...Candi...you have school tomorrow!" I try real hard to keep a straight face every time you both try to make your case! "But mommy....please can we please watch just one cartoon?" "Pease, pease", little Caliope says putting her little hands together begging! All I can think of is how can I freeze this moment in time...perfect Kodack moment!!!!!
I love you both so much and please believe me when I tell you that I want nothing but to give in to your every demand. I love you so much, but I know that the SUPERNANNY would tell me "This is not acceptable behaviour" and put me in time out for 39 minutes! You are both such precious angels that I often thank God that you were brought into my life. I know every parent feels the same way but I really can't see my life without you two. I thank your daddy at least once a week that he married me and we were able to bring two angels from heaven and bless everyone who meets you two.
This is why I am writing this blog. I know that there are many times that I wish I could "document" a moment so I can treasure it forever so I thought tonight what better way then a blog. Better yet share it will the world and inspire other mommies to start their own blog or letter to their young ones that will be forever kept in the "wide world web".  I want to share with you ideas and tell you about the rights and wrong of the world. Tell you about boys and men and how to figure out the difference...sigh. How to shave your legs or wax your eyebrows. Well...I want to write just about everything.
I promise to write in my journal at least 4 out of the 7 days of the week. Enjoy my angels.
